WHAM! Sons of Jack and Albert 1990

Wham! were huge in the 1980s. When they broke up George Michael's career soared. Even though Andrew Ridgeley was half of Wham! when I would mention his name people would ask "Who?". If I replied he was "the other one from Wham!" people understood. The same year Michael released Listen Without Prejudice Vol.1 Ridgeley released his solo album Son of Albert. I chose three of Ridgeley's songs for this: "Shake" (which was a single from the album), "Baby Jane" and "Red Dress" (which has Michael on backing vocals).

  1. "Sons of Jack and Albert" is definitely a better title than "Jack Albert's son" which might be confused with the song stylings of the actor from Willy Wonka and Chico and the Man. ; )
