The Shadow playlist

A collection of songs based around the pulp and radio character The Shadow. I open it with a piece by Saint-Saens that was used for the theme of the radio show. Two "The Shadow Knows", one by Link Wray and one by The Coasters, yet one is not remake of the other. Two songs based on things The Shadow said on the radio: "What Evil Lurks" and "Crime Does Not Pay". A song by Janet Jackson called "Black Eagle" which is what the Shadow was known as in WWI and includes the line "come out of the shadows".  A song called "Margo" in reference to a character created for the radio show and later added to the pulp stories. I conclude with a radio episode that has three rare appearances other characters from the pulp, Moe Shrevnitz, Joe Cardona and Commissioner Weston.
