"Philly Justice" from "Parks and Recreation"

      While filming the final season of the series "Parks and Recreation" Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Adam Scott, Katherine Hahn and Paul Rudd posed for a photo. They decided it looked like a David E. Kelley legal drama and was named "Philly Justice".  They soon gave their "characters" names and back stories. Between shooting scenes for their actual series, they would shoot scenes for their fake series. Writers worked on a script, props were made and Dylan McDermott (who wasn't part of "Parks and Rec" joined in the fun.

        Many a person on the internet has come up with "what if The Beatles stayed together" so I was going to avoid this. Years ago, a co-worker and I talked about this idea and, dog gone it, it keeps going through my head, so here we are. Everest was what Abbey Road was going to be called. Since they didn't use it then I figured they could use it on their next album. John Lennon's Plastic Ono Band  from 1970 has Ringo on drums. I chose two songs from the record, "Working Class Hero" and "God" (which has Billy Preston ((from the Get Back sessions)) on grand piano. I also included the single "Instant Karma!" which has Billy Preston and George Harrison. Pink Floyd Radio K.A.O.S. 1987

       This post is similar to the Genesis album I put together last November. Roger Waters left Pink Floyd to become a solo act. David Gilmour took the role of leader and the band continued. Feel free to make any comparisons between Roger Waters and Petere Gabriel. To put Waters back into Pink Floyd I chose "Home" and "The Tide Is Turning" from Waters' 1987 album Radio K.A.O.S. as well as "Going to Live in L.A.", the b-side of "Radio Waves" and "Get Back to Radio", the b-side to "Sunset Strip".
